When should my puppy start?
Puppy & Me is for puppies under 16 weeks on their first day of class. We recommend giving your puppy about a week to settle into your home before starting.
You can begin any week and attend five consecutive sessions. Puppies who are already 16 weeks or older begin with Life Skills 101.
Are small puppies and big puppies in the same class?
We offer separate classes for small puppies and medium/large puppies, with up to ten puppies and two Dog Life Coaches. Coaches also pay attention to comfort and play style. Jeannie can help you choose the right size group.
What help do we get between classes?
Your class hub includes detailed recaps and step-by-step homework videos you can revisit at home. Helpful emails keep the next step manageable, and ten puppy badges celebrate your practice and progress.
You’ll also find guidance on everyday puppy life, including potty training, play biting, chewing, and crate training.
What if my puppy is shy or gets overwhelmed?
Tell us. We help you read your puppy’s signals, support breaks, and make the experience more manageable. Your puppy’s comfort matters.

What vaccinations does my puppy need?
Contact us to confirm the current class vaccination requirements, and check with your veterinarian about your puppy’s individual needs. We’ll help you plan your puppy’s start.
Where do classes meet, and what times are available?
All group classes meet at our Eden Prairie school: 14500 Martin Dr, Suite 1500, Eden Prairie, MN 55344, just off Highway 212 near Mitchell Road.
We offer weeknight and Saturday classes and welcome families from Minneapolis, Edina, Bloomington, Minnetonka, and nearby suburbs. Check the current puppy class schedule.
What if we miss a class?
Make-up classes are $40 when available. The full class package includes one make-up per level. Contact us to arrange a make-up; availability depends on the schedule.
What if my dog is over a year old?
Our adolescent classes are designed for dogs starting between 16 weeks and one year. We consider older dogs after a consultation to make sure group classes are a good fit. Get in touch to discuss your dog.
