What can Perfect Puppy Prep work on?
Coming when called, polite leash walking, sit, down, stay, leave it, Peek-a-boo and going to bed. Your coach also helps you work through play biting, potty training and chewing. In the 10- and 20-session Perfect Puppy Prep programs, most visits are coach-and-puppy time; your coach guides you on which sessions to attend and how to practice between visits.

Do you offer in-home puppy and dog training in Shakopee?
Yes. Shakopee is part of our in-home service area. Start with Puppy Start at Home: three one-hour family coaching visits and the GAD video course for $435. You can register directly; a separate initial consultation is not required for this puppy package. For dog behavior concerns, begin with an initial in-home consultation.
Where are your puppy classes held near Shakopee?
Our off-leash puppy and dog classes are held at the Go Anywhere Dog school: 14500 Martin Dr, Suite #1500, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. We offer weeknight and Saturday classes, just off Highway 212 near Mitchell Road and Martin Drive.
What is included in the private puppy programs?
Puppy Start at Home includes three one-hour in-home coaching sessions for $435, with your family participating at every visit and the full GAD video course included. Focus on potty routines, play biting, settling and first everyday skills. For more trainer-led practice, the 10- and 20-session Perfect Puppy Prep programs include socialization, skills training, selected family sessions, a Puppy Report Card and video-course access. Ultimate Puppy Packages combine private training with group classes.
Is it safe to start puppy classes before vaccines are complete?
The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior supports appropriate puppy socialization before the full vaccine series is complete. Its guidance calls for at least one set of vaccines at least 7 days before class and a first deworming, with vaccinations kept up to date. Ask your veterinarian about your puppy’s health and our team about current enrollment requirements. We recommend giving your puppy a week to settle into their new home; enrollment gives you access to the Puppy Video Course so you can begin learning right away. What if my puppy is too old for Puppy & Me?
Puppy & Me is for puppies under 16 weeks at their first class. Older puppies can start with 101. If your dog falls outside the usual class age range or has behavior concerns, contact us about a consultation so we can help choose an appropriate starting point.
Can we start small and continue if we want more help?
Yes. Puppy Start at Home is a complete three-session starting option, with no larger package required. Your family participates in every visit. After the three sessions, your coach can help you choose any next steps based on your puppy and your goals. Sessions are scheduled separately after registration, subject to availability, and must be used within six months. Our team arranges your included GAD video-course access after registration.
