Can in-home dog training help with everyday manners, too?
Yes. Private dog training is for dogs of any age and can focus on jumping, leash pulling, barking, counter surfing, coming when called, and other everyday challenges. We also help with fear, reactivity, guarding, and aggression. You don’t need to know which label fits—tell us what is happening, and we’ll help you find a starting point.
How much does in-home dog training cost?
Start with a $180 in-home consultation lasting about 60 minutes. It includes practical first steps, an email with your coach’s recommendation, and access to our video eCourse. After your consultation, private coaching packages are $435 for 3 sessions, $840 for 6 sessions, or $1,350 for 10 sessions. The consultation is separate. See the consultation and package details.
What happens during the first consultation?
Your Dog Life Coach meets with you at home for about an hour. Together, you’ll discuss your dog’s behavior, your concerns, and your goals. The visit includes practical first steps, followed by an email with your coach’s recommendation and access to our video eCourse.
Do I need to buy a package before the consultation?
No. Begin with the $180 initial consultation. Your coach will recommend next steps based on your dog’s needs. The 3-, 6-, and 10-session packages are available for ongoing support after that recommendation.
Where do you offer in-home dog training?
We serve southwest Minneapolis and nearby western and southwestern suburbs, including Eden Prairie, Edina, Richfield, Bloomington, Hopkins, St. Louis Park, Shakopee, and the nine Lake Minnetonka communities listed above.

Can we work together by Zoom?
Yes. Dog Biz Pro offers 30-minute Zoom consultations for $60. Contact Jeannie if you’re unsure whether a Zoom call, an in-home visit, or a consultation at our Eden Prairie school is the best place to begin.
My dog has bitten or guards things. Where should I start?
Contact us before booking and describe what has happened. We’ll help you discuss the right starting point and plan how to meet your dog. Include what triggers the behavior and any bite history so your coach has the context they need.
How many sessions will my dog need?
That depends on your dog, the concerns you’re working on, and your goals. Your consultation gives your coach a basis for recommending a plan. Progress is individual, and we’ll help you understand what to work on next.
Do you also help puppies or dogs who might enjoy classes?
Yes. For new-puppy routines and early learning, explore in-home puppy training. For group learning, see our puppy classes or adolescent dog classes.
If fear, reactivity, or aggression is making a group setting difficult, talk with us about private support first.
